CEO - Ieuan Wilcox
Ieuan was born in South Wales. In 2017 he made the choice to not pursue the usual route of University and instead joined the Ministry of Defences Financial Accounting Apprenticeship Scheme in Bristol. After graduating and qualifying as a Part Qualified Financial Accountant, he moved to London to the Ministry of Defence Head Quarters to work in a Financial Accounting role. Within their Head Quarters, he then transitioned to a People and Skills position, heading up 2 Cohorts of Cyber Apprentices.
After moving to London, he fell in love with Muay Thai. During this phase, he realised how much a Martial Art can change ones entire life for the better. It was at this stage that he started KO Acquisition whilst he was still working in the Ministry of Defence, to help Martial Arts Gyms reach more people and grow their facilities.
Ieuan then resigned from his role in the Ministry of Defence to run the KO Acquisition Full Time
KO Acquisitions Philosophy
It is the goal of KO Acquisition to be the Go To Marketing Agency in the UK for Martial Arts Gyms. However, we do not want to be one of these agencies that work with 200 gyms at a time. We like to build genuine partnerships with the gyms we work with. We are an extension of the gyms team, not an external service provider who does not care about the success of the gym.
We believe that if you have a Martial Arts Facility that genuinely cares about your members, provides an amazing service to your community and changes lives, you should be in a position where you are appropriately compensated for that impact - that is our motivation at this company. Helping Gym Owners to be compensated for the impact they deliver.
